The Motorola MBP8 is one of the first digital baby monitors available for under £20.  This monitor is designed to be easy to use and ideal for travelling.  There is no complicated set up, as both the parent and baby unit simply plug into an standard UK plug socket and are ready to go.  Using the digital technology means the signal is encrypted, as well as easily audible using the high sensitivity microphone.  The MBP8 works up to 50 metres indoors, and has an "out of range" warning.  This baby monitor is designed with cost and simplicity in mind.
