Having owned a Bt 100 monitor I thought I would upgrade to a 250 for baby number 2. The 250 has great features like music talk back, feeding alarms, nightlight that can be controlled from the parent unit, a torch. But strip all the flash away as a monitor it's rubbish. Bt says no crackling but even with mute all on the monitor still omits sound. With mute low on i could hear my sons breathing so i have to mute all but i could still hear sound from the monitor, the crying alert did not work and when it did it was not exactly loud enough to wake you up. Unlike the 100 you only have three settings for sensitivity they are 100% 99% and zero%. The 100 can be set to 6 or 7 different sensitivity levels. I though the monitor may be broken so Bt sent me another and it was the same. I'm sending both back and going for a 150. So in sumery the 250 is a morris minor dressed as a ferrari.
